PHOENIX - Pinnacle West Capital Corp. (NYSE: PNW) announced today that Glynis A. Bryan, Chief Financial Officer at Insight Enterprises based in Tempe, Ariz., has been elected to the company’s board of directors. 

“Glynis’ financial expertise and leadership experience across different sectors, including water, electricity, transportation and technology, are highly relevant to the strategic direction of our organization,” said Pinnacle West Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer Jeff Guldner. “As an Arizona-based business leader, she also brings a local perspective to our company’s home state and the electricity customers and markets served by Arizona Public Service, our largest subsidiary.”

Since 2007, Bryan has led the financial operations at Insight, where she has developed and executed strategic initiatives helping to grow the global information technology company. Prior to the IT industry, Bryan was a financial executive in the transportation sector for Ryder Transportation Services, APL Logistics Americas and Swift Transportation. Her corporate board experience includes serving as a director for Pentair PLC (NYSE: PNR), including through the reorganization of that company’s global water and electrical businesses into two separate publicly traded companies.

Raised in Jamaica, Bryan earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from York University and a Master of Business Administration in finance from Florida International University. She currently resides in Phoenix and is an Executive Committee Member of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Phoenix.
