Pinnacle West Increases Common Stock Dividend; Announces Earnings Conference Call

The Pinnacle West Capital Corporation (NYSE: PNW) board of directors today announced a dividend increase of $0.10 per share annually, or about 5.9 percent. The board’s action will result in an indicated annual dividend of $1.80 per common share, or $0.45 per share quarterly, and represents the 10th consecutive increase of this magnitude. The declared dividends are payable December 1, 2003, to shareholders of record on November 3, 2003.

The increase results in an average annual dividend growth rate of 6.7 percent for the five-year period 1999-2003, ranking Pinnacle West among the top U.S. electric utilities.
