Jacob Tetlow

Jacob Tetlow is vice president of transmission and distribution operations for Arizona Public Service Company (APS). Based in Phoenix, APS is Arizona’s largest electric utility provider, serving more than 1.2 million customers across the state.

Tetlow is responsible for the company’s energy delivery function, which includes system operations, maintenance, engineering and construction of the transmission and distribution system.

Tetlow previously served as general manager of transmission and distribution operations. He also spent 11 years in fossil generation for the company working in roles such as director of gas and oil generation, director of coal generation, and in various frontline and leadership positions at the Four Corners Power Plant and Cholla Power Plant.

He currently serves as past chair of the Association of Edison Illuminating Companies distributed energy resources subcommittee and is a member of the association’s power delivery committee. Tetlow is also a member of Arizona State University’s industrial advisory board.

Tetlow earned a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Arizona State University.
