• Pinnacle West’s approach to sustainability;
• Discussion of key sustainability issues including electric system growth and reliability, climate change and demand side management initiatives;
• The corporation’s environmental, social and safety performance; and
• Use of innovative technologies to meet the corporation’s future needs, including renewable energy, future fuels and carbon reduction.

The 2006 Pinnacle West Corporate Responsibility Report includes basic information on Pinnacle West subsidiaries, APS, APS Energy Services and Sun Cor, providing a more complete look at Pinnacle West, said Fox.

The report was prepared in accordance with guidelines set by CERES, a coalition of investors and public-interest organizations, and to the extent possible, Global Reporting Initiatives (GRI) guidelines. These guidelines were established to develop globally applicable standards for sustainability reporting.
