Teach Electric Meters to Listen
As a company, we take communication with our customers very seriously.
We take it so seriously in fact, we’re now asking our electric meters to join in the conversation. To this end, APS has begun the deployment of “smart” electric meters to our customers’ homes. In addition to allowing two–way communication with our customers, this smart meter system creates the platform for an energy future in which customers can control appliances and thermostats from remote locations, view a real–time display of a home’s energy use, change electric service plans with the push of a button and much more.
