APS/Maricopa County Community Colleges Scholarship (2007-2008 School Year)
Scholarship Award: (25) $1000 scholarships ($500 per semester) will be awarded in three categories:
1. twelve (12) scholarships to ACE high school seniors graduating in Spring 2006
2. seven (7) scholarships for the Chandler-Gilbert Electric Utility Technology Program
3. two (2) scholarships to dependents of an employee of APS or any of the other Pinnacle
West Capital Corporation subsidiaries
4. four (4) scholarships to the graduates of Communities in Schools Academies
Criteria/Eligibility: High school senior or current Maricopa Community College student.
Engineering - mechanical, electrical, civil, chemical.
Trades and Crafts - electricity, electric technology (lineman), mechanical and industrial
technology (HVAC, welding, machining), instrumentation and controls.
Information Technology - programmer, network, telecommunications.
Business - marketing, accounting, finance, economics, management.
Education - pursuing education degree to teach K-12.
Health Care - medical assistants, LPNs, RNs, nurse practitioner, practitioner assistant
Cumulative GPA of at least 3.0
Enrolled in a minimum of nine (9) credit hours per semester
Arizona resident

scholarships will be available soon.
