APS/ASU Scholarships
(The information below is for the 2010-2011 school year; those scholarships have already been awarded. Information about the scholarships for the 2011-2012 academic year will be available in January 2011.)
Scholarship Award: Ten (10) scholarships of up to $2,000 each (up to $1,000 per semester) will be awarded in two categories:
- Eight (8) scholarships to the eligible General Student Population
- Two (2) scholarships to eligible dependents of employees of Pinnacle West or one of its subsidiaries should they be eligible
Criteria: Field of study – Engineering: mechanical, electrical, civil, chemical, construction,
material science, telecommunications
Business: accounting, finance, communication, supply chain
management
Information Technology: programmer, network, graphics information
Cumulative GPA of at least a 3.0
Arizona resident
Financial need
Deadline: March 1, 2010.
Process: An applicant can apply electronically by using ASU’s General Scholarship application found at
http://students.asu.edu/scholarships/general-application. For information about our scholarships,
scroll down and click on APS/ASU Scholarships.
Applicants must follow up with the APS/ASU Scholarship Application Cover Sheet (you also
can obtain a copy by sending an e-mail to scholarships@aps.com.
If an applicant fails to submit the APS Cover Sheet, the application will be disqualified.
