Barbara Gomez is Vice President of Supply Chain Management for Arizona Public Service Company. Prior to assuming her current duties in January 2010, Gomez was Vice President, Controller and Chief Accounting Officer of Pinnacle West Capital Corporation. In addition to Accounting, she was responsible for Supply Chain Management and Risk Management/Insurance. Prior to that, Gomez was Vice President and Treasurer of Pinnacle West and Arizona Public Service Company, a position she held since 1999. She joined APS in 1978 and held various financial analyst positions in the regulatory, budgeting, long-range planning and forecasting areas prior to becoming a leader in 1985. She has managed both the Planning and Treasury Operations departments, on two separate occasions.
