Barbara Gomez is Vice President, Controller and Chief Accounting Officer of Pinnacle West Capital Corporation. In addition to Accounting, she is responsible for Supply Chain Management and Risk Management/Insurance. Prior to assuming her current duties in January 2009, Gomez was Vice President and Treasurer of Pinnacle West and Arizona Public Service Company, a position she held since 1999. She joined APS in 1978 and held various financial analyst positions in the regulatory, budgeting, long-range planning and forecasting areas prior to becoming a leader in 1985. She has managed both the Planning and Treasury Operations departments, on two separate occasions.
