Maria Lacal was named Vice President, Operations Support for Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station® in January 2011. Previously she served as General Manager, Emergency Services and Support at Palo Verde. Lacal joined APS as Director, Strategic Planning at Palo Verde in April 2007 from Florida Power and Light where she was Director, Nuclear Operations Support. Previously at Turkey Point Nuclear Power Plant, Lacal served as Operations Manager, Training Manager, Plant Change Control/Configuration Group Supervisor and Quality Assurance Engineer.
