John Hesser is Vice President of Engineering at the Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station. He was elected to this position in October 2007. Hesser joined APS in 1978 and has 29 years of electric utility experience, including previous roles in fossil power and in the transmission and distribution areas. At Palo Verde, he has served as director of Emergency Services, director of Work Management and director of Nuclear Engineering.

Hesser received a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Western Michigan University.
