Pinnacle West’s commitment to Supplier Diversity and Development is achieved through many strategic activities and relationships. Through the strategic and innovative involvement with various community and national organizations, the Pinnacle West SDD program contributes to the positive economic growth of the region. An example of this innovative community involvement would be the partnering with the City of Phoenix in the distribution of Community Development Block Grant funds to qualified minority and women owned businesses. This Block Grant has provided needed funds for qualified businesses that allowed for training and consulting enhancing their ability to succeed.
