APS sponsors the Ballet’s signature “The Nutcracker” performance each year. Thanks to the success of
this signature classic, Ballet Arizona is able to offer other quality performances throughout their ballet season. In addition, APS and Pinnacle West employees benefit directly by receiving the opportunity for discount tickets to performances throughout the year.
One of the hallmarks of APS’ sponsorship is the curtain speech prior to the event. This gives APS executives an opportunity to thank their customers on behalf of the company as well as share the mission of the company in supporting the efforts of arts organizations throughout our community.
While The Nutcracker is a tradition for millions of families throughout the world, it also has become an integral part of the holidays for APS employees and their families.
As such, APS is a great supporter of the performing arts, and its commitment reflects the company’s belief that creative exploration helps strengthen communities. Ballet Arizona, supported by APS, is dedicated to serving the people of central Arizona through Education and Community Engagement programs, which touch the lives of more than 35,000 children each year.
