APS and the Red Rocks

APS continues to be a leading Arizona corporate citizen. By supporting arts and culture organizations through both financial and in-kind services, APS strengthens communities and supports the arts.

APS and the Sedona Jazz on the Rocks organization celebrate a fruitful relationship that has lasted more than 10 years. Founded in 1981, Sedona Jazz on the Rocks celebrates jazz as a living art form through education and performance programs. The not-for-profit organization is dedicated to furthering the talents of young Arizona jazz musicians and APS is proud to support their efforts.

The Sedona Jazz Festival is an annual event showcasing a diverse array of jazz performers from legendary to emerging artists who come together for five days of outstanding music in one of the most beautiful and scenic parts of Arizona. APS' in-kind donations include printing of the playbill for this popular event.

"Sedona Jazz on the Rocks is deeply grateful for the support of its sponsors," said Executive Director Teri Mahaney. "We couldn't fulfill our mission of preserving and promoting jazz for the next generation without the support of organizations like APS."

Thanks to the support of APS and the Sedona Jazz Festival, more than 1,500 youth participate in Sedona Jazz on the Rocks music education programs each year. In addition, the organization has awarded more than $275,000 in scholarships to youth ages six to 18 years old.
