Denis A. Cortese, M.D., is Director, Health Care Delivery and Policy Program, Arizona State University and Emeritus President & Chief Executive Officer, Mayo Clinic. Dr. Cortese was President and CEO of Mayo Clinic from 2003 until his retirement in November 2009. From 1999 to 2002, Dr. Cortese served as CEO of Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Fla., and Chair of the Board of Directors at St. Luke’s Hospital, also in Jacksonville. Dr. Cortese has been a director of the Company since Jan. 1, 2010.
