APS engages in various mentoring programs to help facilitate utilization, growth and success of Minority and Women Business Enterprises. APS provides technical assistance and coaching to aid diverse businesses in understanding APS' needs and methodology. This includes coaching and reviewing of their presentation for effectiveness. We develop training seminars for diverse businesses on various business skills training related topics. One-on-One Mentoring
Conduct individual buyer introduction and presentations to diverse businesses on how APS does business. In addition we hold workshops to discuss subcontracting opportunities with our large suppliers and promote diverse business utilization among our prime suppliers. External Training
In our quest to find and develop suppliers, APS partners with external associations to facilitate comparable business acumen training on a larger scale. Various organizations in the valley provide business seminars and workshops that are valuable resources for the business community. APS encourages you to explore these opportunities.
