Public Policy Engagement

Pinnacle West and its subsidiaries, including Arizona Public Service, have a responsibility to engage in the public policy process for the benefit of our customers, shareholders, employees, communities and other stakeholders. We advocate for sound, forward-looking public policy that creates shared value for our business, our community and a vibrant Arizona economy. We believe that this participation helps to create more robust and better-informed policy outcomes.

  • Political Participation Policy

    Our experience and expertise give us an informed perspective on how public policy can affect our company, our customers, our communities and Arizona's energy future. We have a responsibility to participate in the political process, when appropriate.

  • Political Action Committee

    Our PAC is a voluntary, nonprofit, non-partisan political association sponsored by Pinnacle West. The PAC is directed by a board comprised solely of employees, which makes and approves all decisions regarding political contributions and budget.

  • Trade Associations

    Pinnacle West may participate in federal, state and local issues through membership in trade associations, which we join to represent various business and industry interests.

  • In Our Community

    Powering Arizona is one thing. But empowering Arizona communities with possibility is another. We donate about $10 million annually to worthy community organizations and programs dedicated to improving the lives of Arizonans.
